Our partner is a manufacturing company, specialising in the production of custom-designed oil-filled and dry-type distribution transformers for both domestic and international markets.
Your new role
As a Senior Controller, you are responsible for reviewing financial results and ensuring an accurate month-end close. You analyse variances, identify key trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
Working closely with finance and operations, you contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting while supporting audits and maintaining compliance. This is a highly visible role where you can combine analytical skills with business partnering to drive performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely financial and operational reporting across divisional and group systems.
- Own Actuals, Forecasts, and Budgets for assigned Business Units, covering P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Monitor key business and production KPIs, providing insights to support performance management.
- Prepare regular reports and perform in-depth analyses to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Lead production controlling activities, including inventory valuation, analysis, and reporting.
- Track manufacturing performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support operational efficiency initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- University degree in Economics or a related field;
- 3–5 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights;
- Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e. g. SAP);
- Confident communication skills in English.
