Head of project managers (electronic division)

Mentor and monitor the E/E system application department ensuring that every team can successfully achieve their project goals.
Leads E/E development as well as implements the medium- and long-term E/E strategy in close cooperation with central R&A development.
Overarching lead for E/E system development including supporting departments in a Matrix organization (BQEEI), SCM, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and Industrialization, form concept phase to EOL for steering gear.
Continuous market surveillance and monitoring for customer roadmaps, technological trends in design and product manufacturing processes, ensuring medium and long-term competitiveness.
Escalation path for all E/E topics within the product line Steering Gear.
Definition of E/E strategy in cooperation with Sales, Procurement and Central R&A.

University degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering with E/E experience.
Professional experience with E/E systems safety-relevant mechatronic systems in the automotive industry.
At least 10 years of professional experience including disciplinary and functional leadership.
Understanding of complex, safety-relevant mechatronic systems.
Very good English skills (German is a plus).
Independent and responsible work style.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as resilience and flexibility.
Willingness to travel (approx. 20%).
