Your new role
We are looking for an experienced Strategic Buyerto join an international procurement organisation supporting multiple European manufacturing sites. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end purchasing activities related to new product launches, working closely with engineering, quality and supplier partners.
Key responsibilities
- -Managing procurement activities related to assigned product programs
- -Coordinating RFQ processes with a focus on quality, cost, delivery, technical specifications and supplier status
- -Organising and following up technical discussions between engineering teams and suppliers
- -Preparing detailed cost comparisons and making supplier selection recommendations
- -Organising and documenting APQP meetings
- -Ensuring timely and cost-effective availability of supplier samples for production
- -Supporting the resolution of supplier-related issues to meet program targets
What you’ll need to succeed
- -Degree in a relevant technical, economic or engineering field
- -Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic purchasing within the automotive industry
- -Confident, business-level
-English communication and negotiation skills - -Strong analytical mindset with a solution-oriented, proactive approach
- -Ability to work independently with a results-driven attitude
