Software engineering manager

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team building and scaling our Client's data infrastructure. Manages a team of Software Engineers, focusing on project delivery, team performance, and day-to-day operations. Ensures alignment with business goals and engineering standards. Partners with senior leaders to align software delivery with organizational goals.

Drive adoption of best practices in architecture, DevOps, and Agile.

Mentor senior developers and developers to grow leadership capacity.

Report on team performance, velocity, and business impact.

Ensure consistent delivery aligned with roadmap and KPIs.

Shape engineering culture, hiring strategy, and technical vision.

Collaborate with executive stakeholders on roadmaps and priorities.

Drive innovation, system scalability, and engineering excellence.

Ensure budget and resource allocation align with strategic objectives.

Represent engineering in cross-functional leadership forums.

Regularly manage costs and reduce where possible.

Push for the widespread use of new tools, technologies and methodologies to increase productivity Elvárások / Requirements
