Senior Controller

Our partner is a property management group in Budapest who is currently looking for a Senior Controller colleague.  

Your new role 

In this role your responsibilities will be: 

• Track, analyse, and maintain the accuracy of key business and financial data;
• Support the preparation of management reports and performance presentations;
• Prepare and monitor cash flow reports to support business decision-making;
• Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances;
• Perform budget-versus-actual analyses and identify key variances;
• Deliver regular and ad hoc financial analyses, providing meaningful business insights;
• Contribute to the optimisation and continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.

What you'll need to succeed 

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience;
• Strong knowledge of finance, controlling, and reporting, with a solid understanding of accounting principles;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• High level of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines;
• Business-level English communication skills.
