Senior ABAP Developer - Budapest
We are looking for experienced ABAP Developers for our globally recognised multinational partner. The company offers a dynamic, international environment and long-term career development opportunities.
As a Senior ABAP Developer, your main responsibilities will include:
Your responsibilities
• Develop and enhance custom SAP solutions using ABAP, FIORI, and S/4HANA RAP, working on elements such as SmartForms, reports, enhancements, and user exits
• Take ownership of identifying and resolving critical production issues, ensuring smooth system performance
• Contribute to system stability by implementing SAP Notes and supporting upgrades and maintenance activities
• Be part of international rollout and improvement projects, gaining exposure to global initiatives across regions
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise technical processes and introducing innovative ideas
• Support complex troubleshooting and debugging activities, collaborating with teammates to find effective solutions
• Actively engage in Agile ways of working, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review sessions

You are the ideal candidate if you have:
• At least 5 years of experience in ABAP development (ABAP / FIORI / S/4HANA RAP)
• A degree in IT is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Strong hands-on experience with SmartForms, reports, enhancements, and user exits
• Experience with SAP Notes implementation and system upgrade support
• Confident English language skills, both written and spoken
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project scopes and team structures
• Mentoring experience and informal leadership skills are a plus
