SAP Accountant (Romania)

Tasks:

University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting in an international environment

Hands-on experience with SAP (FI modules)

Solid knowledge of local and EU tax regulations

Fluency in Hungarian and English

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Advanced user-level IT skills (MS Office, ERP systems)

Ability to work independently, accurately, and meet deadlines

Proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Decisive, cooperative, results-oriented, and flexible personality

Requirements

SAP accounting tasks for our Hungarian and Romanian entity

Post incoming invoices

Review invoices in compliance with VAT regulations

Process bank statements

Post other GL entries: accruals, reclassifications etc. , various business transactions

Perform monthly account reconciliations

Ensure digital compliance reporting, such as SAF‑T, e‑Invoice, e‑VAT and other electronic reporting files

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in accordance with IFRS

Support preparation of annual financial statements

Maintenance of financial records, including general and subsidiary ledgers
