Our partner, a leading global organisation, is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its international legal team supporting procurement activities across IT, Network, and Logistics categories. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional who enjoys working in a multinational environment, negotiating complex contracts, and partnering closely with business stakeholders across multiple countries.
In this role, you will provide end-to-end legal support on procurement-related matters, collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, and contribute to legal transformation initiatives, including the implementation of AI-powered tools and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support on procurement-related matters across IT, Network, and Logistics categories.
- Review, draft, negotiate, and manage commercial and procurement contracts in English.
- Deliver practical, business-focused legal advice while identifying and mitigating legal risks.
- Support compliance activities related to anti-bribery, competition law, sanctions, and data privacy.
- Collaborate with international legal, procurement, finance, and business teams.
- Contribute to legal innovation and transformation initiatives, including AI-powered tools and process improvements.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the legal function.
What We Are Looking For
- Law degree.
- 3–5 years of post-qualification or relevant legal experience.
- Strong background in contract law and commercial contracting.
- Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating procurement or commercial contracts.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural, and cross-functional environment.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset with excellent business judgment.
Nice to Have
- Bar qualification.
- Knowledge of English law.
- Master's degree in International Contract Law, Commercial Law, or Procurement.
- Experience gained within an international law firm and/or the legal department of a multinational technology, telecommunications, or shared services organisation.
- Exposure to legal technology, automation initiatives, or AI-powered legal solutions.
