Our partner company is a leading international food manufacturer with a strong presence in the global market. The company provides high-quality products to customers worldwide and is continuously growing its market presence. We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team, responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with key modern trade partners, driving sales growth, and strengthening the company’s market position.
Tasks:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key Modern Trade partners, including major retail chains such as Auchan, Spar, Kaufland, and other strategic customers
Managing day-to-day cooperation with central purchasing teams and key decision-makers
Negotiating commercial agreements, contracts, pricing, promotions, and annual business plans to maximize sales and profitability
Understanding customer needs and developing tailored business solutions
Identifying new business opportunities and driving growth within assigned key accounts
Ensuring successful execution of sales strategies and commercial activities
Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer performance to support business decisions
Preparing regular reports on key account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights
Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth customer operations and successful delivery of agreed solutions
Requirements
3+ years of successful experience in sales / key account management, preferably within FMCG
Experience managing Modern Trade customers and working with retail chains
Strong negotiation and influencing skills with a customer-focused approach
Strategic thinking and strong business understanding
Experience in sales forecasting, business planning, and account development
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market information
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proactive, self-motivated, and result-driven personality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Good knowledge of the FMCG market and retail dynamics
Good English communication skills
