IT Monitoring Specialist

Your new role 

• Build strong expertise in our monitoring platforms and leverage them to meet customer and business monitoring needs
• Gather, analyse, and translate monitoring requirements into implementable solutions using existing tools.
• Design, implement, and test monitoring configurations and enhancements
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects on new features and improvements to monitor applications.
• Work with engineering teams to define, apply, and maintain architectural standards and best practices
• Perform functional analysis and provide effort estimates for proposed changes
• Stay up to date with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in IT monitoring and observability

What you'll need to succeed 

• 3+ years of experience in IT monitoring or related technical roles
• Strong knowledge of monitoring concepts such as synthetic monitoring and application performance monitoring
• Hands‑on experience with Datadog (consulting or expert level preferred)
• Solid understanding of application architectures and hybrid cloud / on‑premise environments
• Experience with scripting or programming technologies
