IT Auditor

Our partner, who is a global real estate services firm that specialises in multifamily property management, is looking for an IT Auditor in Budapest.

Your new role 

The IT Auditor role is part of the Internal Audit function and reports to the Director of IT Audit & Data Analytics. The position supports and executes risk-based IT and cybersecurity audits, focusing on IT governance, technology risks, and internal controls across the organisation. The role includes assessing the design and operating effectiveness of controls, identifying technology-related risks, documenting audit results, and developing practical improvement recommendations. Close collaboration with audit, business, and IT stakeholders is essential.  

• Support IT and cybersecurity audits (e. g. IT general controls, access and change management, cloud environments)
• Perform control documentation, testing, and evidence review
• Identify risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities
• Support the preparation of audit reports and findings
• Collaborate with business, IT, and audit stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed 

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience in IT audit, internal/external audit, risk management, or cybersecurity
• Basic understanding of IT controls, cybersecurity, and risk management
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good command of English
• CISA, CIA, or similar certification is an advantage.
