Housekeeping Coordinator

The Housekeeping Coordinator coordinates the housekeeping efforts and activities along with guest requests to achieve excellent housekeeping service.

Tasks & Involvements:

Respond to all incoming calls and handle guest requests, issues and complaints to provide quality service and ensure guest satisfaction

In charge of the departmental Knowcross system and make sure it is updated and used correctly

Take key inventory to ensure all section keys/master keys are accounted for

Responsible for supporting the Housekeeping department for administrative duties: inventories, timesheets, purchasing

To be able to do daily room attendant task assignments (AM) or turndown/refresh rooms assignments (PM)

Assigning specific cleaning tasks to each staff member based on their skills and expertise

Training new staff members on proper cleaning techniques and methods

Checking the cleanliness of the public area min 2 times/day

To coordinate with the Team Leaders and ensure that the current room statuses are updated in the system at all times

Ensure housekeeping guest amenities and supplies are well stocked and available for the cleaning tasks

The Ideal Candidate:

At least few years of proven Housekeeping experience in similar position preferably in a 5-star property of similar size

Excellent command of written & spoken Hungarian and English

Good understanding of housekeeping systems & processes

Superior attention to detail and ability to control multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to coordinate a team

Qualification in hospitality in ad advantage

Improved communication skills
