Data Scientist

Description

You’ll work on:

Airline operations (e. g. , flight planning, crew scheduling, maintenance)

Large-scale datasets from operations, and business systems

Optimization problems and operations research use cases

Data-driven products used across the teams.

Requirements

Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e. g. , Data Science, Mathematics, Econometrics)

Experience in data science or operations research (5–7+ years)

Strong programming skills in Python and/or R

Solid knowledge of SQL and data analysis

Experience with machine learning, optimization, and NLP techniques

Strong communication skills to translate technical insights to business users

Key responsibilities:

Translate business problems into machine learning and optimization models

Perform in-depth data analysis using statistical and programming techniques

Develop and deploy predictive and prescriptive models

Define and monitor KPIs and model performance

Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to identify business opportunities

Convert analytical solutions into production-ready products

Support incident management and model reliability
