Our multinational partner is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in Budapest.
In this role, you will oversee end-to-end AP operations, ensure compliance, and work closely with international teams and external partners. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys ownership and working in a complex, global environment.
The job:
- Manage and supervise AP operations and external teams
- Ensure accurate, timely processing, reporting, and compliance
- Lead and develop the team (training, performance, hiring)
- Monitor KPIs, service levels, and partner performance
- Handle escalations and improve processes
- Support efficiency, cost optimisation, and continuous improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to strategic decisions
You will be a great fit if you have:
- 7+ years of relevant finance experience, including at least 3 years of experience in a Team Leader or Coordinator role
- Strong Accounts Payable knowledge
- Excellent stakeholder and people management skills
- Fluency in English
