Manual QA Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our team in Budapest.

• This role involves performing manual testing to validate functionality and usability of features across platforms.
• You will design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and checklists for web, mobile, and backend applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), bug-tracking systems, SQL, API, performance testing, and Fiddler/Wireshark.

In this role, you will:

• Perform manual testing to validate functionality and usability of features across platforms.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and checklists for web, mobile, and backend applications.
• Conduct regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing as part of the release cycle.
• Proactively identify risks and propose mitigation strategies early in the development process.
• Work with an extensive onboarding study program to prove existing skills in practice and fill gaps in specific knowledge corresponding to a Medior QA Engineer.
• Work together with a mentor and tech lead on hard and soft skillset to identify strengths and keep developing them as part of individual development plan.
• Dive into the powerful QA community, take part in community development work.
• Share experience with Trainee QAs as a mentor.

Requirements: SDLC, Bug-tracking systems, SQL, API, Performance testing, Fiddler, Wireshark, Basic programming or scripting skills.
