Main Responsibilities

The role involves preparing VAT returns, Intrastat and EC sales reports. Additionally, tax accounts must be reconciled, and participation in corporate income tax preparation is required.

About the Position

This position requires excellent accounting knowledge and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT returns, Intrastat and EC sales reports
• Reconcile tax accounts
• Participate in corporate income tax preparation
• Manage external relations
• Address operational issues and ensure timely resolution
• Deliver and monitor operational KPIs and comply with company policies and guidelines
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

About You

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• Proven experience in GL/TAX accounting preferably in an international multicultural environment
• Hands-on expertise in corporate tax accounting and activities
• Good business acumen
• Strong problem-solving, deductive and analytical skills
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles

Soft and Technical Skills

• Ability to interact with internal clients professionally
• Self-motivated, well-organized, hard-working, detail-minded, clear thinker and quick learner
• Well-inclined towards change and able to work under pressure
• Team player with an end-to-end mindset
• Solid knowledge of SAP and Excel
• Hands-on experience with SAP Accounting Modules and other accounting-related IT tools
• Familiarity with IFRS

Languages

• Fluent in English and French language
