Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing controlling support to local Business Units, including budgeting and forecasting, monthly closings, project approval and tracking, and other financial planning activities.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years of diversified financial controlling experience and be able to influence business decisions, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively in a complex matrix environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Prepare accurate and timely budgets and forecasts for Business Units.
• Ensure that all assumptions built into the budget and forecast are clearly identified and communicated.

• Monthly Closings:
• Support the monthly closing process by ensuring that sales and expense reviews, scorecards, and other key metrics are completed on time.
• Analyze and explain variances between actual results and budget/forecast.

• Project Management:
• Track and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ensure that all projects are properly approved and budgeted.
• Oversee the capitalization of assets and ensure compliance with Sanofi methods and procedures.

• Risk Management:
• Identify risks and opportunities that affect the achievement of forecasts.
• Develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of diversified financial controlling experience.
• Skills: Advanced Excel skills, ability to download data and use pivot tables, V-look ups, macros, etc.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
