Job Description

As a data engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, production-ready data products. Your expertise in big data engineering will be instrumental in driving business growth through data-driven decision making.

With a strong background in big data engineering, you will be responsible for developing software in big data environments, optimizing PySpark code for high performance in distributed data processing, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our data systems.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines, optimize data processing workflows, and ensure seamless integration with other systems.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implementation of scalable, production-ready data products
• Development of software in big data environment
• Optimization of PySpark code for high performance in distributed data processing

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Requirements:
• Strong background in big data engineering
• Expertise with Hadoop ecosystem (PySpark, Airflow, HDFS, Elasticsearch)
• Experience with ETL (SSIS), data modeling, warehousing, and BI (SSAS)
• Proficiency in Python; C# and BigQuery are advantageous
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, automation, and agile/DevOps practices
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially GCP
