Business Development Manager

Our partner is a globally recognized international freight forwarding company. The firm places a particular emphasis on providing high-quality services to its clients across sea, road, rail, and air freight. Currently, we are seeking a new colleague to join their team in the position of Sales Manager.

Manage and continuously expand the client portfolio

Actively scout for new business opportunities in the Hungarian (HU) and Romanian (RO) markets

Build and develop customer relationships through personal and online meetings

Handle inquiries, prepare price quotations, and provide follow-up

Participate in tender processes

Continuously monitor market trends and competitors

Gather customer feedback and propose service development improvements

Support the market launch of the new Debrecen office.

Actively participate in the formation of the sales strategy

Meet sales targets and provide regular reporting

Manage and resolve escalations

Keep the CRM system up to date

Prepare regular reports and statements for management Elvárások / Requirements

University or College degree (a degree in Business, Economics, or Logistics is an advantage).

Proficiency in both Hungarian and Romanian is a plus

Ability to work proactively and independently.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proven track record in business development and sales within a B2B environment.

High level of customer orientation.

Valid Category B driver's license.

Experience gained in the field of freight forwarding or logistics.
