Your tasks will be:

Conduct safety inspections and audits, drive completion of corrective actions;

Write safety reports and communicate them to stakeholders;

Assist in implementation of safety management system and programs, like safety training, emergency drills, fire safety management;

Support safety engineer to develop and implement annual emergency drill plan;

Purchase materials or service that EHS department needs, including but not limited to PPE, firefighting equipment, labels, first aid supplies, etc;

Assist safety engineer completing regulatory compliance tasks on time;

Manage inventory of PPE, firefighting equipment, emergency response materials, etc;

Oversee the safety management of contractors on site;

Provide training and safety education to employees;

Other tasks assigned by EHS manager and safety engineer.

You are the perfect candidate if:

You have a high school or bachelor degree in in the field of safety engineering/technology, fire protection, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent experience;

You have 1-3 years of EHS work experience;

You posess knowledge of labor protection and occupational health regulation and legislation;

Basic knowledge of ISO 45001;

Knowledge of preparing an occupational health and safety risk assessment;

Basic knowledge of fire protection legal requirements;

Knowledge of machine and equipment commissioning requirements is an advantage;

Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced, collaborative environment and creatively problem-solve.

An Advantage:

Experience in the battery, chemical or automotive industry or equivalent experience;

Fluency in English.
