Our client is a joint venture of an international organisation in the defense and automotive industry and an IT System integrator. The headquarter is in Budapest and their initial mission is to provide project- and operations-related IT services to the parent company's local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, our client plans to expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike.

Your tasks will be:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand testing requirements and develop effective testing strategies for interface and integration scenarios.

Configure, execute, and maintain automated test cases using Integration testing software and other relevant tools eg. Robot Framework

Identify, report, and track defects, and work closely with development and SAP teams to ensure timely resolution.

Conduct thorough testing of interfaces and integrations, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

Monitor and analyze test results, provide comprehensive reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and tools related to integration testing and SAP systems.

Requirements

Proficiency in interface and integration testing, preferably with experience in SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and SAP R/3 or S/4.

Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

Knowledge of API-based and file integrations, and ability to apply testing techniques to these scenarios.

Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, including the ability to script and maintain automated test suites.

Familiarity with defect tracking systems and proficiency in defect reporting and management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

What is a plus:

Experience with other integration platforms and technologies beyond SAP, such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Azure Logic Apps.

Knowledge of SAP modules and business processes, enabling better understanding and validation of integration requirements.

Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques, enabling the identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks.

Understanding of security testing principles and techniques, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of integrated systems.

Certification in software testing or relevant SAP certifications would be advantageous.
