Our client is a joint venture of an international organisation in the defense and automotive industry and an IT System integrator. The headquarter is in Budapest and their initial mission is to provide project- and operations-related IT services to the parent company's local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, our client plans to expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike.

Your tasks will be:

Conduct exploratory testing of custom software in agile environments (e. g. , Scrum, Kanban)

Apply structured testing techniques, including equivalence class analysis and boundary value analysis

Design, write, and maintain clear and comprehensive test cases

Create and manage test data to support various testing scenarios

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI

Use Jira for test management, defect tracking, and documentation

Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development cycle

Requirements

At least 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance of custom software in agile projects (e. g. , Scrum, Kanban)

Proficient in testing methods such as exploratory testing, equivalence class analysis, and boundary value analysis

Solid knowledge of Jira as a test management tool

Experience in writing and maintaining test cases and creating test data

Knowledge of API testing and, where appropriate, tools such as Postman or SoapUI

Communication skills for close coordination with development and product owners

English language knowledge

What is a plus:
