Your new role

As a Production Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and managing interconnected production sequences and material flows using modern manufacturing methods, with a strong focus on cost efficiency. You will generate production plans based on customer demand, coordinate with production departments, engineering, procurement, and production management, and ensure timely execution of manufacturing orders.

You will also:

Lead production planning

Identify bottlenecks and optimize production processes and inventory levels.

Continuously improve planning methods and reporting systems.

Supervise and support three dispatching colleagues (planners).

Prepare standard performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly).

Maintain and develop production reporting systems and master data.

Participate in cost calculations and synchronize reports with the parent company.

Act immediately in case of deviations from the production plan.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in production planning or manufacturing coordination.

Strong command of German written and spoken.

Advanced Excel skills are essential for data analysis and reporting.

Experience in capacity planning, ERP systems, and performance tracking.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to lead and support a small team.

A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
