We are looking for a Mold Works Engineer to join our Production Team; which is located in Kaposvár, Hungary.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree is required.
- Strong background in technical drawing and CAD/CAM software (e. g. , AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Ability to read, interpret, and control technical drawings for mold production.
- Experience with CNC programming: creating and uploading machine coordinates.
- Understanding of materials used in mold making, especially bronze and cast iron.
- Familiarity with glass shaping processes (e. g. , blank molding, blow molding).
Job Description
- Carry out necessary activities aligned with the objectives of implemented management system standards, including Information Security, Quality, Energy, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, and Food Safety.
- Complete all assigned awareness trainings related to the aforementioned management systems.
- Be familiar with and act in accordance with relevant corporate policies.
- Fulfill responsibilities related to Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) initiated within their department.
- Report any identified or communicated information security incidents to their Department Manager and/or the Information Security Management System Officer.
- If trained as an internal auditor, participate in internal audit planning and perform assigned audit tasks.
- Attend all mandatory and assigned trainings and meetings, and provide feedback as required.
- Support the onboarding and orientation processes of peers at the same level.
- Ensure timely entry of annual leave requests within the designated timeframes.
- Manage and oversee the functioning of their service area in accordance with the production schedule and directives from their supervisors.
- Delegating tasks to subordinates effectively.
- Conducting development activities in mold design and repair; monitoring advancements in similar companies and researching necessary equipment; providing recommendations to supervisors.
- Reporting any changes made to molds during production to the Mold Design Unit and ensuring updates are reflected in technical drawings.
- Organizing prompt and effective mold repairs or modifications during production.
- Conducting research and implementing innovations to improve efficiency; identifying and resolving mold-related issues that reduce productivity.
- Overseeing trial production processes and ensuring design changes are applied to molds as needed.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure sample provision during trial production in line with customer requirements.
- Coordinating with relevant services for the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Providing necessary training to subordinates to enhance quality and productivity.
- Monitoring stock levels of consumables and preparing purchase orders; working to reduce costs to optimal levels and advising supervisors accordingly.
- Procuring and ensuring the use of mandatory protective equipment as required by Occupational Health and Safety Committee decisions.
- Ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with the Quality Management System.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Initiating, monitoring, and concluding corrective actions as authorized.
- Ensuring calibration of devices related to the department is performed or arranged as required.
