As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing pneumatic and electro-pneumatic brake control valves for Medium and Heavy-Duty Commercial Vehicle EBS (Electronic Braking Systems). This includes components like ABS modulator valves, EBS modulator valves, foot brake valves, parking brake valves, and trailer control valves. Your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to design activities for pneumatic and electro-pneumatic brake control valves.
• Supporting DFMEA and DVP&R activities, learning to identify potential failure modes and validate designs.
• Assisting the systems engineering group with air/mass-flow analysis.
• Collaborating closely with SW Controls and Systems engineering teams to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Developing your expertise in the exciting field of automotive braking systems.

Elvárások / Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering field. A Master's degree is a plus!
• 2-4 years of professional experience in mechanical design, ideally within the automotive or a related industry.
• Familiarity with pneumatic braking systems used in Medium and Heavy-Duty Commercial Vehicles (ABS, EBS) is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to designing pneumatic and/or electro-pneumatic valves for braking controls (e. g. , ABS and EBS modulators, foot pedal valves) is a plus.
• A basic understanding of braking system performance and its influence on vehicle dynamics behavior is beneficial.
• Any experience with braking systems vehicle testing activities on test tracks/proving grounds (ABS, ASR, ESC, etc. ) or familiarity with vehicle network topology (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and E&E architecture would be a bonus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
