Your new role
As a Logistics Buyer, your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing customer forecasts and call-offs
- Ordering raw materials based on production needs and managing purchase orders in the ERP system
- Monitoring delivery quantities and deadlines, arranging expedited shipments when necessary
- Maintaining daily communication with suppliers and coordinating with logistics partners
- Managing inventory checks, backlog lists, and DCO tracking
- Optimizing raw material stock levels and handling logistics claims
- Participating in internal audits and ensuring compliance with escalation processes
What you'll need to succeed
- University degree
- Strong English skills (written and spoken)
- Advanced computer literacy (ERP systems, Excel, Word)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry in purchasing or logistics
- Accurate, flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
