Junior ARC Analyst (fixed term)

In this role You will:

• Support delivery of Finance Group Reporting services to the business(es) assigned to the ARC Analyst or ARC Senior Analyst whom they assist
• Execution of timely monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, and accurate reporting in accordance with Finance Standards and Practices, including the Group Reporting Manual for all entities which fall within the ARC Junior Analyst’s portfolio, in liaison with the relevant business (control and assurance)
• The ARC Junior Analyst will work on straightforward entities and/or assist more experiences Accountants on more complex entities.
• Develop and understanding of the client organization and business in order to be able to deliver a quality service
• Support Business clients in understanding General Ledger and Group reporting pertaining to them
• Support the General Ledgers relating to assigned clients including reviewing and/or processing Journals for the Business e. g. allocations and adjustments
• Ensure timely and accurate submissions to Group Accounts
  
  Support General Ledger Close Process
• Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet Accounts, follow-up and report on open items, escalate issues timely
• Work with other Process Teams including Payables, Cash & Banking, Accounts Payable and Intercompany Teams to ensure data entering ledgers is high quality and accurate

What You need to be successful:

• Financial accounting experience
• Part Qualified accountant, likely to be pursuing course of study/experience with a view to gaining a recognized accounting qualification
• Fluency in English
• Good level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awareness
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Customer- and service-oriented thinking,
• Strong communication and cooperation skills
• Readiness for action and ability to work under pressure
