This role supports application connectivity by managing firewall configurations, maintaining accurate documentation in the connectivity registry, and reviewing firewall change requests for compliance. The position ensures third parties are properly registered and applications are listed in the relevant system inventories. It involves verifying network configurations, documenting new procedures, and collaborating to keep process and technical documentation current and accurate.

Review and process firewall, proxy, and remote access requests; perform risk assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.

Provide security guidance to business units on third-party connectivity in line with information security policies.

Coordinate with various technology teams to implement secure, cross-functional third-party connectivity solutions.

Support connectivity methods such as remote access, business-to-business links, firewalls, proxies, and third-party access.

Evaluate risks during decision-making, ensuring compliance, ethical conduct, and proper issue escalation to protect the company and its assets. Elvárások / Requirements

1–3 years of experience in firewall and network administration

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IPSec, GRE, and VPN technologies

Experience in managing technology projects, including platform and data migration

Familiarity with Windows, Unix, and Linux network/firewall connectivity

Skills in security configuration, scripting, web services, FTP, and encryption

Knowledge of encryption algorithms, both hardware and software-based
