Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Vendor Manager, where you will play a critical role in shaping the future of medicine. As a key member of the clinical trial team, you will collaborate with our strategic vendors to ensure seamless initiation/start-up activities and support project managers throughout the entire lifecycle of the clinical trial.

Main Responsibilities:

• As the first line of contact for all vendor escalation matters, you will work closely with project managers and the Vendor Excellence group to resolve issues efficiently.
• You will serve as the technical expert for trial operations, providing guidance on vendor selection, budget, and timeline estimates, including central labs, cloud-based interactive response technology (IRT), electronic clinical outcome assessment (eCOA), imaging, ECG, spirometry, home nursing, and more.
• You will translate protocol requirements into vendor technical specifications and facilitate the vendor proposal, budget, and contract process, ensuring that all necessary stakeholders are informed and involved.
• In collaboration with support functions, such as trial operations, clinical study unity (CSU), legal, procurement, and finance, you will ensure seamless communication and execution throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.
• You will track corrective actions related to issues and audit findings, initiate/draft contracts with support from legal and procurement, and provide support on all invoice and payment matters, resolving outstanding escalations.
• Working directly with vendors and the in-house team, you will ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
