GL Accountant (Payroll focus)
Our partner, which is the Hungarian subsidiary of a large international company, is looking for accounting professionals of all seniority levels with payroll focus to join their team!
Posting payroll-related journal entries
Assist, perform and/or review payroll reconciliations
Supporting monthly closing processes and reconciliations (wages, benefits, deductions)
Investigate external provider outputs against expectations and escalate discrepancies
Provide variance analysis of payroll expenses
Take part in the preparation of payroll text returns
Supporting internal and external audits
Reviewing the work of junior colleagues and providing professional mentoring
Keeping contact with internal departments and external service providers Elvárások / Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related fields
Fluent English
0-2 years (junior), 1-3 years (medior) or 4+ years (senior) of experience in accounting, payroll accounting or related field
Strong Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Blackline etc. )
US GAAP experience is a plus
Structured thinking, precise and attention to detail
Strong problem solving skills
Motivated, can do attitude
