
Fire Protection Engineer
As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will play a key role in our finance team by handling local tax-related accounting affairs in Hungary. You will work closely with other team members to ensure the company complies with all applicable tax regulations and optimises tax planning.
Job Responsibilities:
- The future talent will be in charge of managing the equipment operation of the control room: ensuring the functioning of surveillance, fire protection systems, infrared intrusion systems, etc. , including the signing of maintenance contracts, technical supervision, safety inspections, and fault repairs
- Control room shift personnel management: This includes scheduling, routine inspections, training and assessment, and uploading patrol records
- Establishment of fire protection and surveillance archives: Review surveillance playback requests, optimise files, update archive information, verify patrol records, etc.
- Organisation and planning of fire emergency drills: Develop exercise plans, organise training and drills to ensure that each critical area undergoes at least two exercises per year
- Fire protection construction management: Includes reviewing construction applications, filing records, signing safety agreements, overseeing the construction process, and participating in project acceptance checks
- Renovation project assessment: Evaluate the site before renovation, suggest corrective measures, and participate in project acceptance checks
- Document review: Participate in client audit meetings, prepare fire safety documents, and take part in on-site and document audits
- Report relevant materials as needed: Daily declaration to the key fire unit system, upload training records, provide necessary materials to the safety supervisor, and respond to inspection issues with corrective actions
- Fire truck management: Includes establishing operating procedures, managing operators, training for emergency response, live combat training and drills, and regular maintenance
- Emergency equipment management: Assess emergency equipment for each floor and area, timely requisition, and control the distribution and issuance
- Other tasks assigned by the leader
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or above is required, and majoring in Safety Management and Fire Protection Speciality will be preferred
- Familiar with Hungarian safety laws and regulations, safety operation procedures, and strong prevention knowledge
- Over 5 years of experience in the safety field, familiar with fire protection and monitoring systems
- Skills: Capable of formulating relevant safety management system documents, possessing strong on-site safety management and emergency response experience
- Key Competencies: Proactive, planning ability, meticulous and pragmatic, communication and coordination skills, attention to detail and overall situation, thorough execution ability, teamwork, and rapid response capability
- Professional Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in safety management are preferred
- Fluent in English and Hungarian
- Able to work in Nyiregyhaza
