
Finance Manager
We are hiring a Finance Manager for our partner, who is a provider of supply chain solutions, offering specialized services in production inventory management and customized programs for OEMs. It delivers technical and administrative support, re-engineers procurement processes, and develops technology-driven solutions to enhance customer productivity and profitability. The location of our partner is in the suburbs of Budapest in the Eastern part.
Responsibilities:
- Directs the company’s financial planning and analysis to enhance profitability and overall business performance.
- Interprets financial data to guide executive-level decisions.
- Manages budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support accurate planning and mitigate risks.
- Establishes financial policies aligned with corporate goals and regulatory standards.
- Leads finance and accounting activities across subsidiaries, ensuring reporting, tax compliance, and robust internal controls.
- Oversees end-to-end accounting processes in accordance with both local and international regulations.
- Supervises the creation of financial statements, annual reports, and profit & loss accounts.
- Ensures timely execution of monthly and year-end financial closings.
- Manages audit compliance and represents the company during internal and external audits.
- Supports ERP system enhancements to meet financial and operational requirements.
- Provides operational assistance to HQ finance functions, including accounts payable and monthly closings.
- Builds strong relationships with regional finance teams to foster seamless collaboration.
- Monitors financial performance, analyzes deviations, and identifies opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
- Contributes to strategic planning through financial evaluations and risk assessments.
- Manages finance team members, providing guidance, motivation, and performance feedback.
- Cultivates a high-performing finance department with a focus on accountability and excellence.
- Collaborates across departments to align financial strategies with broader business goals.
- Keeps up-to-date with financial regulations to ensure full compliance with legal and policy requirements.
You are the successful candidate, if you have:
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant leadership experience.
- Strong working experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.
- Fluent communication skills in English and Hungarian.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to accuracy and performance excellence.
