We are looking for Environmental Engineer to join our Team; which is located in Kaposvár, Hungary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environment Engineering or Ecologist
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within an environmental consulting company or environmental authority.
- Strong problem solving, planning and follow-up skills
- Hungarian legislation knowledge is a must
- Preferably having training certificate and expertise in ISO 14001 EMS
- Ability to monitor and follow draft legislation, providing proactive updates to the management regarding potential impacts.
- Demonstrated experience in managing environmental changes within a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
Job Description:
- Maintaining environmental management services (permits, licenses, declarations, etc. ) in accordance with environmental laws and regulations within the scope of legal regulations such as Environmental Permit and License Regulation (IPPC) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) etc.
- Following the processes carried out with official institutions
- Creating environmental programs, monitoring environmental performance indicators on a monthly basis and taking rapid actions to ensure a sustainable environmental system
- Preparation of environmental reports within the scope of company strategies and targets
- Gaining knowledge in waste management and carrying out waste recycling projects
- Providing legal environmental and awareness training
- Fulfillment of TS EN ISO 14001:2015 requirements
- Continuing activities and ensuring improvements within the scope of ISO 14001 EMS
- Preparation of environmental emergency plans
