We are looking for DevOps Engineer!
Since 2016, Propair Flight has been developing virtual aircraft and airports, software solutions, and cloud-based data analytics systems for flight simulators. As a member of the AXIS Aviation Group, our goal is to improve flight safety and make pilot training more efficient by developing top-tier full flight and VR simulators.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team and help drive the efficiency, security, and scalability of our development and deployment processes. You will play a key role in automating workflows, maintaining infrastructure, and ensuring high availability and performance of our services.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Jenkins.
- Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and DigitalOcean.
- Set up and maintain observability tools (e. g. , Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system health and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications using Docker and support microservices architecture.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Apply best practices in network, system, and cloud security.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Skilled in backup integrity verification and disaster recovery planning for databases
- Automate routine operations and improve system reliability and scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong experience with GitLab, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Proficient in working with AWS and DigitalOcean environments.
- Solid knowledge of observability/monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency in using Docker and supporting microservice-based architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Knowledge of Vault for secrets management.
- Familiarity with Artifactory for artifact storage and management.
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
- Basic understanding of Selenium for automated testing.
