Procurement Specialist: Device Category Management

This is an exciting opportunity to join our procurement team as a Procurement Specialist, where you will play a key role in managing the device category across the organization.

Job Description:

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans to drive cost savings and improve efficiency in the device category.
• They will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop effective solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement, preferably with experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• They will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as having sound ERP skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Proven expertise in direct procurement within the pharmaceutical, automotive, or FMCG industries.
• Strong background in sourcing development services for new device innovations and managing Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) partnerships for outsourced production.
• Solid experience in contract negotiation for services as well as manufacturing and supply agreements.
• Good understanding of finance and price and cost analysis, as well as legal aspects.
