Data Engineer (junior/medior)
Our partner is a well-known brand in the aviation industry. The team in Budapest – which was founded 2 years ago - is rapidly growing, hence we are seeking our next colleagues to join as Data Engineer.
As a Data Engineer within our team, your focus will be to build high-quality applications that are maintainable, performant, and secure.
We are in the process of migrating all data into the cloud, so new data projects are all connected to this. You will join an international team, which is partially in Budapest.
You are the ideal candidate if you have:
- Fluency in English language, both spoken and written;
- A minimum of 2–4 years of experience as a Data Engineer;
- Cloud engineering experience, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) OR Azure;
- Knowledge of data architecture: you are aware of the concept of data warehouse, data lake;
- Experience with Python programming language + Java or Scala
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant fields
- SQL database knowledge
- Understanding of common algorithms and data structures
- Experience with conceptual, logical and physical data modelling
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) techniques
