We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Mainframe System Programmer. As part of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, provisioning and support of CPU hardware and infrastructure resources.

This includes designing, implementing and supporting procedures, methods and conventions for the operation of CPU hardware, as well as ensuring the design, deployment and support of standardized capacity and performance management for CPU hardware resources.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be involved in technical project management, consulting and pre-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

• Global planning, provisioning and support from CPU hardware and infrastructure resources
• Design, implementation, support and standardization of procedures, methods and conventions for the operation of CPU hardware
• Ensuring design, deployment and support of a standardized capacity & performance management for CPU hardware resources

Requirements

• Mainframe HW skill z16, z15 series
• HMC
• OSA setup
• Generating IODF
• Cabling, connectivity between CECs and Storage HW
• Experience with ZIS architecture
• Experience in the operation of z/OS systems and its subsystems
• Good knowledge of mainframe hardware and software (IBM and Brocade)
• Knowledge of HMC, IO definition (HCD or HCM)
• Experience in project management
• Good know-how of the Incident/Change/Problem ITIL processes
• Experience with working in a team
• Good language skills in German or English
