• Deliver clear, practical, and timely legal guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance issues relating to Hungary as well as the broader international regulatory environment.  
• Track developments in Hungarian and EU regulatory frameworks and address their impact on business operations.  
• Design, manage, and implement compliance policies and procedures tailored to the Hungarian market, ensuring consistency with European and global requirements.
  
  
• Oversee compliance activities carried out by support teams, ensuring full conformity with both local and international regulations.  
• Collaborate with external legal advisors to draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts in line with applicable laws.  
• Keep thorough records and registers of agreements, corporate documentation, and compliance-related activities.  
• Provide the CEO with timely, professional, and comprehensive reports on compliance status and potential risks.  
• Support the Board of Directors administratively by preparing meeting materials, recording detailed minutes, and maintaining accurate documentation of board resolutions and decisions.

• At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in commercial legal roles, ideally with prior in-house counsel background.  
• A Bachelor of Laws degree and admission as a Barrister and Solicitor in Hungary, with eligibility to hold a current practicing certificate.  
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical guidance.  
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in both Hungarian and English.  
• Technical expertise or prior experience in industries relevant to compliance operations.
• Highly self-motivated and proactive, capable of independently managing compliance initiatives.  
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail, adept at handling complex compliance matters.  
• Genuine commitment to legal compliance and corporate governance, with awareness of emerging trends and best practices.
