Your new role
As a Metal Commodity Manager, you will take full ownership of the global metal commodity category, with a strong focus on aluminium and copper-based components. You will lead the development and execution of commodity strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization initiatives. This role requires a proactive and accountable professional who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in strategic procurement or commodity management, ideally in metals
- In-depth knowledge of metal-based manufacturing processes (e. g. turning, milling, deep-drawing)
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and drive processes end-to-end
- Experience in a matrixed, international organization
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
