Join our global Clinical Sciences and Operations team as a Clinical Development and Operations Scientist and you'll be responsible for representing Sanofi's interests in European public-private consortia, leveraging clinical expertise to influence and shape research outcomes that benefit both Sanofi and the broader research ecosystem.
Main responsibilities:
Scientific Strategic Alignment & Representation
- Evaluate project proposals, leveraging access to published content, and prepare executive summaries for management decisions.
- Coordinate Clinical Support Operation’s (CSO) scientific participation in European multi-stakeholder consortia projects and joint (private-public) project proposals, including proposal writing, in collaboration with relevant Sanofi business functions.
- Represent Sanofi CSO's expertise in consortium meetings and ensure activities align with CSO strategic objectives.
Project Management
- Develop and manage resource allocation plans, ensuring appropriate CSO expertise for consortium commitments.
- Mobilize and coordinate Sanofi expert involvement and cross-functional team activities.
- Support CSO work package leaders and contributors to ensure high-quality scientific deliverables, within set timelines.
- Identify, monitor and mitigate project risks while managing dependencies across work streams.
Deliverables & Knowledge Management
- Capture and document consortium outputs with potential internal value to CSO.
- Maintain internal project tracking tools and contribute to value internalization plans.
Communication & Implementation
- Provide regular status updates to senior management and steering committees.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing with CSO business capabilities leaders.
- Support development of internalization and implementation roadmaps for valuable consortium outputs.
About you
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in clinical/drug development and operations.
- Previous experience in large multi-stakeholder, multi-organizational projects.
- Strong understanding of drug development process and clinical trials.
- Project management experience.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Ability to lead without direct authority.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Creative, innovative and calculated risk-taking thinking.
- Excellence in building and maintaining strategic partnerships.
Technical skills:
- Strong scientific expertise in clinical research and development.
- Project management and resource allocation expertise.
- Excellent documentation and scientific writing skills.
Education:
- Advanced degree in biomedical sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD in biological sciences or equivalent).
Language(s):
- Strong English skills (verbal and written), ability to exchange fluently in a global environment.
