Your new role

As the Chief Accountant, you will be directory reporting to the Country Director and the Belgian financial team.

Your main responsibilities:

Communicating with external accountants and overseeing their work.

Reviewing the content and format of customer and supplier invoices.

Monitoring and administering bank loans related to projects.

Preparing reports for the foreign parent company.

Managing internal administration and financial records.

Preparing budgets and conducting cost control.

Conducting financial analyses and forecasts.

Handling tax-related tasks, preparing and submitting tax returns.

Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and laws.

What you'll need to succeed

Degree in finance or accounting. At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of precision and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Proficiency in the English language.
