Your new role
As a Category Manager – Electronics (Semiconductors), you will be responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies for key electronic components, including connectivity and networking solutions. You will lead supplier negotiations, manage contracts, and drive cost optimization initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to align sourcing with product roadmaps. You will also engage in early supplier involvement, manage RFx processes, and leverage digital procurement tools to enhance efficiency. Occasional travel (up to 30%) is expected to maintain strong supplier relationships and support business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, with a focus on electronics or semiconductors.
Proven track record in supplier negotiations, cost management, and sourcing strategy.
Strong understanding of semiconductor supply chains and manufacturing cost structures.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Fluency in English and the ability to operate independently.
