In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, from implementing sourcing strategies to managing relationships with key suppliers. As an Events and Medical Communication Buyer, you will be responsible for leading sourcing for assigned categories, ensuring global strategy's execution in countries, and presenting procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and input.
You will also be responsible for delivering savings pipeline in line with targets, leading local RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for your category, and reporting on status, savings, performance, and risks on sourcing activities. Additionally, you will maintain comprehensive understanding of Procurement Policies/Processes related to risk/CSR/Compliance and ensure adherence to these by relevant team members.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 4+ years' experience in Procurement or related field, including agency-side experience. They should possess skills in planning, prioritizing, and independently handling multiple projects, as well as deep knowledge of advanced procurement processes and best practices. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and change management skills are also essential. Fluency in English is a must.
