
Business Management Intern

Within the GPS organization, the EMEA COO team is accountable for core business management activities (includes headcount, financial discipline and talent strategy), business governance and oversight as well as leading strategic cross-functional projects to protect and grow the business.
The team has a broad remit and we work closely with all teams across GPS and the firm and including Product, Solutions Structuring, Product Distribution, Investment and Portfolio Solutions, Legal & Compliance and Marketing.
Feladatok:
Assist the COO team to deliver the risk and governance strategy and the execution of a robust control and conduct environment
Aid with the preparation of meeting materials and documentation for GPS regional forums
Help the COO team in monitoring operating events and ensuring timely remediation
Contribute to the delivery of cross-functional projects which are aimed at accelerating growth, driving scale, creating operational efficiencies and mitigating risk
Facilitate BAU business management activities including ad hoc requests, budget tracking, headcount monitoring and prioritization
Reviewing marketing materials
Following up on risk incidents
Attending OpCo meetings, taking notes, coordinating with different teams
Calculating payments for clients
Elvárások:
The position is open for applicants with active or passive student status
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work across teams
Analytical and inquisitive mindset
Ability to effectively manage projects, results oriented and able to ‘roll-up the sleeves’ in order to accomplish necessary tasks
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Interest and understanding of the financial markets
