We are looking for a BI Specialist for our partner's Budapest office to design and optimise data models and create interactive dashboards that drive data-based decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong Power BI expertise, analytical skills, and can turn complex business needs into clear, actionable insights.

As a BI Specialist, you will:

Design and optimise Power BI data models using best practices (e. g. , star schema), ensuring performance and integrating data from diverse sources like SQL, APIs, Excel, and cloud services. Create interactive dashboards and reports with actionable insights, applying advanced DAX calculations and adhering to usability and design standards. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security through row-level security, role-based access, and collaboration with data engineering for reliable pipelines. Partner with business units to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Stay updated on Power BI trends and best practices, recommending enhancements to dashboards and reporting processes.

What you will need to succeed:

5+ years of experience in Power BI development and data modelling.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science (desired).

Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Nice to have Power BI Cloud experience.
