As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side application components in collaboration with the lead developers and peers, ensuring optimal performance, security and feature completeness.   Working as part of our in-house engineering team, you will implement new applications for our bespoke technology stack and improve its presence in innovative ways. Responsibilities 

Collaborate with the engineering team and front-end developers to design, develop, and refine product requirements.

Work cross-functionally with the DevOps engineer, data engineer and quality assurance team to deliver reliable and seamless solutions.

Maintain a clean, testable, secure and well-documented codebase.

Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance and ensure reliability.

Ensure backend security, authentication and data integrity. Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a back-end developer or in a similar role.

Solid working knowledge and proven experience in TypeScript and in Node. js and its ecosystems.

Strong understanding of backend architecture and APIs.

Experience with Docker and Azure is a plus.

Familiarity with MongoDB, GraphQL, and React. js.

Knowledge of functional programming patterns. A keen attention to detail.

Good analytical and strong problem-solving aptitude.

Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Working-level English required (written & verbal)

Genuine interest in technology, eagerness to learn and experiment.
