Job Overview

We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to join our finance application team, focusing on SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

This role is part of a newly transitioned function, where we will now support the MDG module globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating banking master data, supporting SAP S/4HANA operations, and ensuring data accuracy across financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update banking master data (e. g. bank codes, NAVICIS data) in SAP MDG
• Add, modify, and validate master data entries in SAP S/4HANA
• Support incident and ticket handling via My IT Service and Jira
• Create and maintain reports using Power BI and Excel
• Collaborate with finance application support team and global stakeholders
• Work within Agile methodology (daily standups, sprint planning)
• Ensure data quality and compliance with internal governance standards

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics and 2–3 years of relevant experience in SAP systems or financial data management. A strong understanding of SAP MDG and S/4HANA is a plus, as well as experience with Excel and Power BI. English proficiency is also essential, with business conversational level spoken and written communication skills required.
