Job family 

We are currently recruiting for Airport Cargo Services Supervisor in Budapest International Airport, Hungary.  As an Supervisor , You will ensure a quality service and adherence to safety policies and security standards.  

Specific accountabilities include:

1. Coordination Items for Cargo Aircraft Ground Handling
2. A. Pre-Arrival Coordination
3. Flight Schedule Confirmation
4. Verify ETD/ETA, aircraft type, and registration number.
5. Confirm parking stand (remote or contact bay) and towing requirements.
6. Handling Team Briefing
7. Assign roles for ramp agents, loaders, and fuelers.
8. Ensure GSE (Ground Support Equipment) availability (ULD loaders, pushback tugs, etc. ).
9. Customs & Security Clearance
10. Coordinate with border control for perishable/dangerous goods inspections.
11. Arrange expedited clearance for time-sensitive cargo (e. g. , pharmaceuticals).
12. B. Ramp Handling Coordination
13. Loading/Unloading Sequence
14. Prioritize critical cargo (live animals, vaccines) and hazardous materials (HAZMAT).
15. Ensure weight & balance compliance (AWB checks, ULD positioning).
16. GSE & Manpower Deployment
17. Monitor GPU (Ground Power Unit), air conditioning, and refueling operations.
18. Prevent FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and ensure ramp safety protocols.
19. C. Post-Departure Follow-Up
20. Documentation & Reporting
21. Submit load sheets, NOTOC (Notification to Captain), and damage reports (if any).
22. Update AWB status in the cargo management system.
23. Turnaround Time (TAT) Review
24. Analyze delays (e. g. , late cargo arrival, HAZMAT delays) for process improvement.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

1. College Diploma Qualification
2. Minimum 2 years of job-related experience required with at least 1 year of relevant experience in Airline/ Travel Industry/Logistics /Hospitality Institute.
3. Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language.
4. High energy and positive attitude are necessary to perform well in this very high pressured and demanding environment.
5. High level of computer literacy.
6. Excellent customer focus and service delivery.
7. Good interpersonal skills and strong team orientation.
8. Must have a legal rights to live and work in Hungary.
