Job Summary:

The Scrum Master is a critical role in our Digital organization, responsible for leading product teams to optimize delivery. This position plays a key part in executing change and elevating agile practices.

Main Responsibilities:

• Serves as a servant leader and coach for a Pod/s
• Works with Product Owners and Development teams on a daily basis to drive execution
• Helps steer the team to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Assists the Product Owner in managing the backlog and guiding the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope
• Facilitates pod ceremonies throughout each sprint (daily standup, sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospectives, and backlog refinements)
• Promotes and secures the right usage of principles, rules, and practices of agile development
• Educates the Pod in Scrum and, where relevant, Agile at scale practices.
• Helps remove impediments and fosters an environment for high-performing product team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement
• Ensures the consistent and effective application of Scrum principles and practices across all teams working on complex commercial products
• Facilitates communication and collaboration among Scrum teams, Product Owners, and other stakeholders
• Collaborates with other Agile team members to drive Agile transformation initiatives across the organization
• Develops and delivers training sessions and workshops on Agile practices and methodologies tailored to the organization's context
• Stays current with industry trends and best practices in Agile and Scrum, particularly as they apply to commercial products

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification required. Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) is a plus
• 2-3 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc. )
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e. g. , Jira, Confluence)
• Proven success in coaching Product Owners and teams to scale products across multiple countries and stakeholders
• Track-record of success as a Scrum Master in complex environments
• Experience in working and domain knowledge relevant to commercial products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
