What tasks await you?

Achieve KPIs for customs operations and trade compliance;

Obtain customs authorizations from NTCA (Normal/Simplified Procedures, End-Use, AEO);

Manage daily import/export customs clearance operations;

Oversee and optimize relationships with customs brokers;

Track shipment status and ensure timely customs processing;

Review and approve all import/export documentation before submission;

Maintain accurate customs master data and compliance reports;

Establish and enforce customs rules and regulations;

Lead AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification processes;

Drive continuous improvement in customs procedures;

Resolve customs-related issues and clarify regulatory questions;

Conduct internal customs audits and implement corrective actions;

Apply special customs policies when beneficial (duty savings, trade programs);

Review and optimize broker costs and approve payments;

Ensure full compliance with all customs regulations.

You are the perfect candidate if you:

Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in International Trade, Logistics or related field;

Possess 3-5 years of hands-on experience in customs clearance operations;

Have in-depth knowledge of EU and Hungarian customs regulations;

Are proficient in:

• HS code classification

• Certificate of origin procedures

• AEO certification processes

• Bonded warehouse operations (experience preferred);

Are fully bilingual in English and Hungarian;

Demonstrate strong communication and organizational abilities;

Excel in team collaboration and cross-functional work;

Are available to work on-site in Debrecen.

It’s an advantage if you have the following:

Experience in the automotive industry (Tier 1 supplier);

Knowledge of automotive customer portals;

Experience in battery manufacturing.
